Aimed at promoting family enrichment, the Provincial Social and Welfare Development Office (PSWDO) led the EduChild Facilitators’ Training/Seminar last September 6, 2023, at the Lou-is Resort and Restaurant.

Said training aims to promote the well-being of families, aligning with the Provincial Government of Bataan’s vision of achieving quality growth and empowered families by 2030.
Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III emphasized the importance of the EduChild Parenting Program as it helps and guides parents in raising their children properly. Furthermore, Gov. Garcia shared the positive results of recent studies on the EduChild Program, which include:

Students whose parents undergo the EduChild Program Seminar/Training showed improved school performance and grades.
Communities where parents undergo the EduChild Program Seminar/Training experienced a better and healthier environment due to the teaching of good behavior and manners to their children or family members.

A total of 55 participants, composed of representatives from the City and Municipal Action Teams of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps, Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) Bataan, and Family Development Session, attended the training.
